Replacing the filter core
Swap the filter core every three to six months, depending on your water quality and how often you shower. In hard water areas, lean toward the shorter end. The core twists out and back in by hand in seconds, with no tools required. You will notice the signs when it is time: weaker flow, or water that no longer feels as soft.
Cleaning the spray face
Mineral buildup can collect on the nozzles over time. Every few weeks, wipe the spray face with a soft cloth. If you have hard water and see white deposits, soak the spray plate in warm water with a little white vinegar for thirty minutes, then rinse. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners and abrasive pads, which can damage the finish.
Keeping the finish
Wipe the body dry occasionally to prevent water spots and preserve the matte finish. No special products needed.
Storage between uses
If left unused for a long period, remove the filter core and let it dry to keep it fresh.
